Use Home Exchange to Make new Friends and stay for Free

I have to say the best budget travel tip is home exchange. We have been able to go places and stay longer than would have been possible if we used hotels all the time.

We have also made some great friends along the way and it's been fun living with the locals while on vacation.

Having a kitchen is great and also helps us save while on vacation. We also joined a nice home exchange community for free. We like free, it fits within our budget.
