Vanilla and Lavender Bath Salts

Makes: 2 1/2 pounds

Ingredients

2 lbs epsom salts, sea salt OR Kosher salt
1/2 lb baking soda
1/4 cup glycerin (optional)
1-3 teaspoon lavender oil
1/2 cup dried lavender (optional)
clear vanilla extract
1 vanilla bean (ground in coffee grinder) (optional)

Directions
Mix 1/2 the salt, 1/2 the baking soda with lavender oil and dried lavender (if using) in a large bowl.
Mix 1/2 the salt, 1/2 the baking soda with vanilla in another large bowl. If using the glycerin you would half it between the bowls also.
All ingredient amounts can be changed to suit your tastes. You can mix the lavender and vanilla for a combined scent or keep them separate.
You can adjust the scent, add more salts if too strong. If the scent is to mild add more. Store in clear, pretty jars.
Add 2-3 Tbs to bath.

You can make decorative, classy instruction cards to attach to the jars.
